Barceló Hotel Group adds three new establishments in Granada to its portfolio. Once they had implemented the company’s service and quality standards, they became part of the group on the 1st of December last year. With these new additions, the 5-star Nazaries Hotel and the 4-star Alhamar and Puerta de los Aljibes hotels have been renamed Barceló Granada Congress, Occidental Granada and Allegro Granada respectively.
These three hotels acquired their new names in accordance with their position within the new brand strategy of the group and they will allow Barceló to offer a differentiated product for multiple segments.
The Majorcan company’s 5-star Barceló Granada Congress Hotel will be the group’s new property that will specialize in events and meetings.
Over the last two months, the chain has made great efforts to improve its product and to implement the standards of the brand, both in the quality of the services it provides and in a notable improvement of its facilities, not to mention making the rooms, meeting rooms and public areas more comfortable.
The Barceló Granada Congress Hotel has 249 rooms and 10 multi-functional meeting rooms providing a total of 2,300 m2. The plenary hall has a maximum capacity of up to 1,000 people. The Hotel is located in a privileged area in Calle Recogidas in the city centre, and it also has easy access to the city’s ring road. With the capacity it offers in both meeting rooms and bedrooms, the hotel has become a clear benchmark for the MICE segment in the city of Granada.
With its three hotels, Barceló Hotel Group now has more than 500 rooms in Granada, and it had become the best option for holding an Event or a Meeting in Granada.
