The main aim of the agreement is to undertake joint promotions in order to capture congress and corporate events of medium and large capacity at national and international level.
The Granada Conference and Exhibition Centre and the Barceló Hotel Group have signed a collaboration agreement whose principal objective is the undertaking of joint promotional activities, such as communication campaigns, participation in fairs and workshops and providing touristic-organizational activities, amongst other things, to capture congress and corporate events of medium to large capacity with over 500 attendees. The signing of the agreement, that took place yesterday, Tuesday 19th of September, was between the manager of the Andalusian hotels in the Barceló Hotel Group, Gaspar Sáez (3rd left in the photo), and the Executive Manager of the Granada Congress Centre, Raúl Lozano
According to Gaspar Saez, “the signing of this agreement confirms the commitment that the Barceló Hotel Group has made to Granada as a destination since the end of 2016 when we incorporated the rentals of the hotels Barceló Granada Congress, Occidental Granada and the Allegro Granada, and following the agreement reached in June to manage the hotel Barceló Carmen Granada as from October 2017”.
We are convinced, explains Raúl Lozano, “that the cultural, historical and scenic richness that Granada has to offer, the excellent standard of accommodation available in the city, that can also boast a relevant scientific and technological presence, together with the advanced congress infrastructure provided by the Congress Centre, make this destination the ideal place to celebrate large corporate events at national or international level”.
About the Granada Congress and Exhibition Centre:
45.000 square metres at the heart of the city distributed over 7 auditoriums (with capacities ranging from 160 to 2.000 guests) and 15 additional rooms, bright and spacious exhibition space for 100 brands, as well as a large cultural area called The Cloud Amphitheatre (an enormous terrace with auditorium with 700 seats overlooking the Alhambra) together with the latest in technological equipment (Wi-Fi for 5.000 simultaneous connections, fibre optic connection, flexible audiovisual equipment, etc.), all to provide the best level of service for any event with up to 5.000 people.
But with all this, perhaps the greatest reason for holding an event here is the total involvement of the Congress Centre team with the content of your event: services and suggestions that the Congress Centre can provide, from a full catalogue of exhibition settings and audiovisual equipment to personalised ideas for the technological management of the event, activities that add value such as concerts and other performances, and of course, a choice of gastronomy tailored to the requirements of the client.
